Ingredients
- 2 c flour
- 2 whole eggs
- 4 egg yolks
- 12 tsp salt
- 12 c powdered sugar
- 14 c butter
- 1 jigger rum
Directions
- Add salt to eggs and beat until thick and lemon colored
- Add sugar butter and rum continue to beat
- Fold in flour and knead until the dough blisters
- Transfer to a well floured board and knead
- Cut in half and roll very thin
- Cut into strips about 4-inches long
- Slit each piece in center and pull one end through the slit
- Fry in hot fat Crisco until lightly browned
- Drain on absorbent paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar
