Chunky Applesauce
Ingredients
- 8 to 12 large marshmallows
- 3 to 4 apples
- cinnamon hearts or red hots
Directions
- Melt marshmallows I use up old marshmallows this way
- Peel and core 3 to 4 apples any kind
- Cut into small chunks and add to melted marshmallow mixture
- Cook stirring frequently until apple pieces soften and begin to get mushy
- Finished product will be very chunky
- If you have any cinnamon red hots or hearts throw a handful and cook until candy melts
- Gives a pretty pink color and spicy taste
