Churros
Ingredients
- 1 12 c Bisquick
- 1 c water
- 1 egg
- 12 tsp cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp sugar plus a little extra
- vegetable oil
Directions
- In small saucepan combine Bisquick and cinnamon
- In a 1-quart saucepan heat water and 1 tablespoon sugar to boiling Add boiling mixture to Bisquick mixture
- Reduce heat and stir vigorously until dough forms a ball
- Remove from heat beat in egg until smooth
- Transfer dough into a pastry bag fitted with a star tip
- Pipe 5-inch strips into a hot skillet with 1-inch of oil
- Cook until golden brown on all sides turning to coat evenly
- While still hot roll in extra sugar
- Serve warm
