water
1 c white vinegar
1 small bottle red food color
1 Tbsp alum
10 c sugar
2 10 oz pkg red hots candy
8 sticks cinnamon
2 c white vinegar
2 c water

Directions

Soak cucumbers for 24 hours in lime and enough water to cover Drain and soak for 3 hours in clean clear water
Drain
Simmer for 2 hours in 1 cup white vinegar red food coloring and enough water to cover
Drain
