Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • 34 c milk
  • 12 c shortening
  • 12 c sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 pkg active dry yeast
  • 12 c warm water 110 to 115
  • 4 14 to 4 34 c sifted flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c sugar
  • 12 c melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • raisins if you wish
  • nuts

Directions

  1. Combine sugar melted butter and cinnamon and raisins if you wish
  2. Spread 12 of mixture on each rectangle
  3. Scatter nuts over top
  4. Roll lengthwise as for jelly roll seal edges
  5. Cut into 1-inch slices
  6. Place cut side down in two well-greased 9 x 9 x 2-inch pans
  7. Cover and let rise 30 to 40 minutes
  8. Bake at 375 for 20 to 25 minutes
  9. Remove to wire racks
