Cinnamon Sweet Pickles

Ingredients
- 7 lb cucumbers
- 1 bottle red food coloring
- 3 c vinegar
- 10 c sugar
- 1 gal water
- 1 c lime
- 2 Tbsp alum
- 2 c water
- 8 cinnamon sticks
- 10 oz bag red hots
Directions
- Peel and seed cucumbers slice
- Soak cucumbers in one cup of lime per gallon of water for 24 hours
- Mix 1 cup of vinegar red food coloring alum and enough water to cover cucumbers
- Simmer for 2 hours
- Pour off
