Clam Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cans clams drained well
  • 14 c olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp minced garlic or 1 clove garlic

Directions

  1. In a 2 cup measure put drained clams and enough water to make two cups Cook garlic in oil until lightly browned Discard garlic Add butter and clam juice Heat to near boil Add clams and heat through Do not boil Add salt to taste and 2 Tbsp chopped parsley Serve over spaghetti or noodles
