Classic Pecan Pie
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c corn syrup light or dark
- 2 Tbsp margarine or butter melted
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 12 c pecan halves
- 1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell
Directions
- Heat oven to 350
- Beat eggs slightly in bowl
- Add sugar margarine and vanilla
- Mix in pecans
- Set pie shell on heavy-duty baking sheet
- Pour filling into pie shell
- Bake in 350 oven 45 to 50 minutes until knife inserted midway between center and rim tests clean
- Cool on rack to room temperature
