Classic Rum Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 c chopped walnuts
  • 1 18 12 oz pkg yellow cake
  • 1 3 34 oz pkg Jell-O vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
  • 4 eggs or Egg Beaters
  • 1 c dark rum 80 proof
  • 12 c oil
  • powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325
  2. Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan Sprinkle nuts over bottom of pan
  3. Mix all cake ingredients together
  4. Pour batter over nuts
  5. Bake 1 hour
  6. Cool
  7. Invert on serving plate
  8. When completely cooled sprinkle top of cake with powdered sugar
  9. Enjoy
