Cleveland Chili
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground sirloin
- 1 green pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 stalk celery
- 2 garlic cloves
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- chili powder to taste
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 2 cans chili beans
- 1 large can stewed tomatoes
- instant potatoes optional
Directions
- Saute onion garlic green pepper celery salt and pepper in butter
- When cooked remove from pan into bowl
- Brown meat Drain fat
- Add bowl of sauteed items to browned meat
- Add tomatoes chili beans and spices
- Simmer on low for 1 hour Serve over mashed potatoes optional
