CliffS Healthy Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1 c whole wheat flour
  • 1 c Quaker oats regular
  • 14 c corn meal
  • 14 c wheat germ
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 14 tsp baking soda
  • 3 c buttermilk
  • 13 c canola oil
  • 2 eggs separated

Directions

  1. In a large mixing bowl mix all dry ingredients together
  2. In a separate bowl mix buttermilk oil and egg yolks and beat well Slowly stir buttermilk mixture into dry ingredients until thoroughly mixed
  3. Beat egg whites and fold into batter
  4. Spoon dip batter into preheated waffle iron
