CloS Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 1 lb butter
• 2 c sugar
• flavoring as desired
• 1 doz large eggs
• 3 c plain flour
• pinch of salt

Directions

1. In a large bowl cream butter and sugar until fluffy
2. Add eggs one at a time alternately with flour until all are well mixed
3. Add salt
4. Pour into tube pan
5. Begin baking in cold oven Bake at 350 for 1 14 hours
