Cocktail Meat Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 c dry bread crumbs
  • 13 c minced onion
  • 14 c milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 18 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 14 c shortening
  • 1 12 oz bottle chili sauce
  • 1 10 oz jar grape jelly

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together except the last 3
  2. Shape into 1-inch balls
  3. Melt shortening in skillet brown
  4. Remove from skillet and drain
  5. Heat chili sauce and jelly in a skillet
  6. Stir until jelly is melted
  7. Add meat balls
  8. Stir until thoroughly coated and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes
  9. Makes 5 dozen
