Cocoa Delight Cake

Ingredients

• 2 c sifted cake flour
• 1 23 c sugar
• 23 c cocoa
• 1 12 tsp soda
• 1 tsp salt
• 12 tsp baking powder
• 34 c Crisco
• 1 c milk
• 3 eggs
• 14 c milk
• 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

1. Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl
2. Add Crisco and first amount of milk called for
3. Beat with mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes
4. Add eggs rest of milk and vanilla
5. Beat 2 minutes Spread batter in 2 well greased and floured 9 x 1 12-inch round layer cake pans
6. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes until center springs back when touched lightly
7. Cook 10 to 20 minutes then remove from pans
