Coconut Chess Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1-12 c sugar
  • 1 Tbsp cornmeal
  • 1 scant cup cold water
  • 1 c coconut
  • 14 c butter melted
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • unbaked pie shell

Directions

  1. Beat eggs slightly add remaining ingredients in order given mix well Pour into pie shell Bake at 425 for 10 minutes Reduce temperature to 350 and bake for 35 minutes
