Coconut Chinese Chews

Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 14 tsp salt
- 34 c flour
- 1 c chopped dates
- 1 c chopped nuts
- 2 beaten eggs
- shredded coconut
Directions
- Mix ingredients in order named
- Spread it thin on a greased and floured pan
- Bake at 375 until done not allowing the edges to become hard
- Cut into 1-inch squares and roll between your palms into ball shapes When cool ice each and roll thickly in shredded coconut
