Coconut Cream Cheese Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 12 c butter or margarine softened
  • 12 c shortening
  • 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese softened
  • 3 c sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 c all purpose flour
  • 14 tsp baking soda
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 1 6 oz pkg coconut
  • 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tsp coconut flavoring

Directions

  1. Mix butter or margarine shortening and sugar for 3 to 4 minutes
  2. Add cream cheese and eggs
  3. Add flour soda salt and vanilla
  4. Mix until blended
  5. Stir in coconut
  6. Pour into a greased 10 inch tube pan and bake at 325 for 1 12 hours
