Coconut Cream Pie

Ingredients

• 1 c sugar
• 4 Tbsp flour
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 c milk
• 34 c coconut
• 14 tsp salt
• 3 egg yolks beaten
• 14 stick butter or margarine
• 12 tsp coconut flavoring
• 1 baked pie shell

Directions

1. Mix sugar flour and salt together
2. Add all remaining ingredients except coconut
3. Mix well
4. Cook over medium heat until mixture thickens stirring with wire whip to prevent sticking
5. Add coconut and pour into pie shell
6. Top with meringue
