Coconut Custard Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 12 c sugar
  • 4 level Tbsp flour heaping spoons are better
  • 5 Tbsp melted butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 4 c cold milk
  • 1 c coconut
  • pastry for two 9-inch pies

Directions

  1. Combine sugar eggs and flour
  2. Add butter milk and 12 cup coconut
  3. Put 12 cup coconut on top of pies
  4. Bake at 425 for 20 minutes
  5. Reduce heat to 350 for 25 minutes or until done Yields two 9-inch pies
