Coconut Custard Pie
Ingredients
- 1 12 c sugar
- 4 level Tbsp flour heaping spoons are better
- 5 Tbsp melted butter
- 5 eggs
- 4 c cold milk
- 1 c coconut
- pastry for two 9-inch pies
Directions
- Combine sugar eggs and flour
- Add butter milk and 12 cup coconut
- Put 12 cup coconut on top of pies
- Bake at 425 for 20 minutes
- Reduce heat to 350 for 25 minutes or until done Yields two 9-inch pies
