Coconut Pecan Filling And Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 c evaporated milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 c chopped pecans
  • 1 c sugar
  • 14 lb butter
  • 1 13 c Bakers Angel Flake coconut

Directions

  1. Combine milk sugar egg yolks butter and vanilla in a saucepan
  2. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens almost 10 minutes
  3. Remove from heat
  4. Add coconut and pecans
  5. Beat until cool and spread between layers top and sides of cake
