Coconut Pecan Filling And Frosting
Ingredients
- 1 c evaporated milk
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c chopped pecans
- 1 c sugar
- 14 lb butter
- 1 13 c Bakers Angel Flake coconut
Directions
- Combine milk sugar egg yolks butter and vanilla in a saucepan
- Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens almost 10 minutes
- Remove from heat
- Add coconut and pecans
- Beat until cool and spread between layers top and sides of cake
