Coffee Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Ingredients
- 14 c instant coffee powder
- 2 Tbsp boiling water
- 1 12 c all-purpose flour
- 14 tsp baking soda
- 1 12 sticks unsalted butter softened
- 34 c granulated sugar
- 12 c firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 8 oz pkg semi-sweet chocolate cut into chunks
- 1 12 c chopped walnuts
Directions
- Mix coffee with boiling water let stand 15 minutes
- Mix flour and baking soda set aside
- Beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy
- Mix in coffee egg and vanilla
- Stir in flour mixture until well blended
- Add chocolate and nuts stir until evenly distributed
- Chill 30 minutes
- Roll dough into 1-inch balls
- Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet
- Bake at 325 for 10 to 12 minutes
