Collard Greens
Ingredients
- 2 ham hocks
- 2 to 3 bunches collard greens
- 34 green bell pepper chopped
- 1 bunch scallions chopped
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- Accent and salt to taste to season
Directions
- Steam ham hocks in a small amount of water for about 1 hour Cut and wash collard greens very well
- Add the greens chopped green pepper scallions sugar and seasoning to the pot
- Simmer for approximately 1 hour or until tender
