Colonial Brown Bread
Ingredients
- 2 c whole wheat flour
- 34 c white flour
- 1 c brown sugar packed
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 12 tsp salt
- 2 c buttermilk
Directions
- Lightly spoon flours into measuring cup level off
- Mix first five ingredients in large bowl
- Slowly add milk until well blended
- Bake in a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan for 1 hour at 350
