Congealed Cherry Salad
Ingredients
- 4 c boiling water
- 2 large boxes cherry jello
- 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple including juice
- 1 large can pie cherries
- 1 8 oz sour cream
- 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese softened
- 12 c chopped pecans
- 14 c sugar confectioners
Directions
- Mix together gelatin boiling water and juice from crushed pineapple
- Stir slowly until blended
- Add can of pie cherries and 12 of the crushed pineapple
- Stir slowly until blended Place into 9 x 12 inch pyrex dish and let set
- Mix softened cream cheese with sour cream until smooth Add sugar
- Add chopped pecans and pineapple and blend together
- Spread on top of gelatin
