Congealed Waldorf Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 c apple cider divided
  • 1 3 oz pkg lemon jello
  • 1 large apple unpeeled and finely chopped
  • 14 c finely chopped celery
  • 14 c finely chopped pecans
  • lettuce leaves
  • mayonnaise

Directions

  1. Bring 1 cup cider to a boil add gelatin and stir until dissolved
  2. Stir in remaining cider
  3. Chill until consistency of unbeaten egg white
  4. Fold in apple celery and pecans
  5. Pour into a 4-cup mold
  6. Chill until set
  7. Unmold on a lettuce lined plate and top with a dollop of mayonnaise
