Continental Frosting
Ingredients
- 1 c milk
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 1 c butter or margarine
- 1 tsp vanilla
Directions
- Cook milk and flour until thick take off heat cool
- Cream sugar and butter with mixer until fluffy 4 to 5 minutes
- Add flour and milk mixture
- Beat another 4 to 5 minutes
- Add vanilla Keep cake cool after frosting refrigerate
- Add crushed pieces of pineapple and flavoring if you want it just a little
- Very good over chiffon cake angel cake or any other kind of cake
