Continental Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 c milk
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 1 c granulated sugar
  • 1 c butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Cook milk and flour until thick take off heat cool
  2. Cream sugar and butter with mixer until fluffy 4 to 5 minutes
  3. Add flour and milk mixture
  4. Beat another 4 to 5 minutes
  5. Add vanilla Keep cake cool after frosting refrigerate
  6. Add crushed pieces of pineapple and flavoring if you want it just a little
  7. Very good over chiffon cake angel cake or any other kind of cake
