Cookie Sheet Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

• 2 c sugar
• 2 c flour
• 12 c shortening
• 1 stick oleo
• 1 c water
• 4 Tbsp cocoa
• 12 c buttermilk
• 2 eggs beaten
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

1. Sift together sugar and flour
2. In saucepan bring to a boil shortening water and cocoa
3. Pour over flour mixture while hot Add buttermilk eggs soda and vanilla
4. Bake in large cookie sheet with sides greased and floured
5. Bake in 400 oven for 20 minutes
6. While cake is baking make frosting
