Corn Bread Or Mexican Corn Bread

Ingredients
- 2 c cornmeal
- 2 c flour
- 4 Tbsp sugar
- 2 Tbsp salt
- 4 Tbsp baking powder
- 2 eggs beaten
- 2 c milk
- 4 Tbsp Crisco
Directions
- Mix the dry ingredients
- Beat eggs Add milk and stir into dry mixture
- Add the Crisco and mix thoroughly
- Pour into hot cast-iron skillet or corn bread stick pan with about 1 tablespoon oil Bake in preheated oven at 450 or until golden brown
