Corn Bread Taco Bake
Ingredients
- 1 12 lb lean ground beef
- 1 1 18 oz pkg taco seasoning
- 12 c water
- 1 can whole kernel corn drained
- 12 c green pepper chopped
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 8 12 oz pkg corn muffin mix
- 1 28 oz can French fried onions
- 13 c shredded Cheddar cheese 1 oz
Directions
- Brown and strain meat
- Stir in next 5 ingredients
- Pour into an 8 x 12-inch baking dish
- Prepare corn muffin mix according to package directions except add 12 can onions
- Spoon around outer edges of casserole
- Bake uncovered at 400 for 20 minutes
- Top corn bread with Cheddar cheese and remaining onions
- Bake for 2 to 3 minutes
