Corn Cakes

Ingredients

• 1 egg
• 1 14 c buttermilk
• 2 Tbsp soft shortening
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 14 c flour
• 34 c cornmeal
• 1 tsp sugar
• 12 tsp soda
• 12 tsp salt

Directions

1. Beat egg well add and beat all other ingredients
2. Bake on lightly greased griddle
