Corn Creole

Ingredients
- 1 onion chopped
- 5 Tbsp bacon fat
- 1 clove garlic chopped
- 1 can cream-style corn
- 1 can whole kernel corn drained
- 1 egg beaten
- 2 c milk
- 12 c corn meal
- 14 bell pepper chopped
- red pepper
- black pepper
- salt
- bread crumbs
- butter or oleo
Directions
- Saute onion garlic and bell pepper in bacon fat
- Add corn Add egg beaten with milk
- Add corn meal and season to taste Stir mixture over medium fire until thick
- Pour into a buttered casserole
- Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and dot with butter Bake 1 hour at 350
