Corn Custard

Ingredients

  • 1 No 2 can cream-style corn about 2 14 c
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp flour
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 c milk
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 12 c cornflake crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp butter

Directions

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients
  2. Stir in eggs
  3. Scald milk and 2 tablespoons butter add to corn mixture
  4. Pour into a greased casserole and bake at 300 for 1 hour
  5. Mix crumbs in 1 tablespoon butter and sprinkle on top
  6. Bake until browned
