Corn Fritters

Ingredients
- 12 c warm water
- 1 pkg yeast
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp melted shortening
- dash of salt
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 12 c sifted flour
- 1 c whole kernel corn
Directions
- Measure water into large mixing bowl
- Add yeast
- Stir until dissolved
- Stir in sugar shortening salt and egg
- Add flour and beat until smooth
- Cover
- Let rise in warm place for 40 minutes
- Stir down
- Stir in corn
