Cornbread Cake

Ingredients

• 2 c sugar
• 12 c melted butter
• 12 c melted shortening
• 2 c flour
• 34 tsp baking powder
• 12 tsp baking soda
• 14 tsp salt
• 3 eggs
• 1 c buttermilk
• 1 tsp vanilla flavoring
• 1 tsp almond flavoring

Directions

1. Mix sugar butter and shortening until smooth Sift flour baking powder soda and salt together
2. Add flour mixture and buttermilk to sugar mixture alternately
3. Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each
4. Add vanilla and almond flavorings
5. Mix well
6. Bake at 350 until toothpick comes out clean and is golden brown
