Cornbread Dressing

Ingredients

• 1 c corn meal
• 23 c sweet milk
• 3 eggs
• 12 c chopped onions
• 12 c chopped celery
• 13 c butter
• 12 tsp pepper
• 1 14 c chicken broth

Directions

1. Heat oven to 425
2. Grease and heat in oven a small No 5 skillet
3. Break 1 egg in bowl beat with fork until frothy
4. Add corn meal and sweet milk
5. Bake for 25 minutes crumble when cool Brown lightly chopped onions and celery in butter
6. Add crumbled cornbread 2 eggs beaten and pepper
7. Moisten with 1 14 cups chicken broth
8. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
