Corned Beef Balls In Celery Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 12 oz can corned beef
  • 1 slice bread cut in cubes
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 large potato raw peeled and grated or chopped fine
  • 1 Tbsp minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 34 c hot water

Directions

  1. Flake corned beef with fork
  2. Add bread onion egg and potato mix
  3. Shape into 12 balls and brown on all sides in hot butter in frypan
  4. Place in casserole dish
  5. Add hot water to celery soup and mix
  6. Pour over balls
  7. Bake uncovered at 350 for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly
  8. Serves 4 to 6
  9. Can be prepared the day before adding soup when ready to cook
