Ingredients

  • 4 lb corned beef brisket
  • 6 or 8 medium white potatoes
  • 12 or 15 medium sized carrots
  • 1 medium head cabbage cut in wedges
  • 14 c melted butter and minced parsley

Directions

  1. Wipe brisket with a damp paper towel
  2. Put in pot and cover with water
  3. Bring to boil
  4. Reduce heat cover pan tightly and cook 3 12 to 4 hours
  5. In the meantime prepare vegetables
