Cornmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 c butter or margarine softened
- 1 12 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp lemon extract
- 2 23 c flour unsifted
- 1 c yellow cornmeal
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 12 tsp salt
- 12 c raisins chopped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400
- Grease baking sheet
- Mix butter or margarine and sugar until creamy
- Beat in eggs and flavoring Mix flour cornmeal baking powder nutmeg and salt thoroughly Add to creamy mixture
- Stir in raisins
- Mix well
