Country Style Raisin Pie
Ingredients
- 1 box raisins
- 3 to 4 Tbsp flour
- pinch of salt
- 2 pie shells
- 1 12 c sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- water
Directions
- Empty box of raisins in pan
- Cover with water and boil raisins until tender
- Place sugar flour vanilla and salt in bowl
- Add enough water to make paste
- Add the paste mixture to the tender raisins and bring mixture to a boil stirring occasionally
- Pour mixture into two uncooked pie shells add a top crust and place in oven
- Cook until top crust is golden brown
