Cousin Agnes Bread Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 4 slices bread diced
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 2 c milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Put sugar on bottom of double boiler insert
  2. Add bread
  3. Mix eggs milk and vanilla
  4. Pour over bread
  5. Place insert over hot water
  6. Cook until set 1 to 1 12 hours
  7. Remove insert and let cool
  8. When cool place plate over top of pan and invert pudding Serve warm or cold
