Crab Meat Spread

Ingredients

• 1 can cream of shrimp soup undiluted
• 6 oz cream cheese
• 14 c finely chopped onion or 4 tsp dried onion flakes
• 1 c mayonnaise
• 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
• 1 c cold water
• 1 7 12 oz can crab meat drained and flaked
• 1 c finely chopped celery

Directions

1. Combine soup cheese and onion in pan
2. Heat until cheese melts stirring
3. Blend in mayonnaise
4. Remove from heat
5. In small saucepan sprinkle gelatin over water
6. Over low heat stir until dissolved
7. Stir into soup mixture
8. Add crab meat and celery
9. Pour mixture into a 6-cup mold that has been greased with mayonnaise
10. Refrigerate until firm
11. Serve as spread with crackers
