Crackling-Sausage Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 1 Tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 5 c flour
  • 1 lb cracklings
  • 1 lb sausage

Directions

  1. Dissolve yeast in 12 cup warm water
  2. Add 2 cups warm water salt and pepper
  3. Stir in large bowl
  4. Add flour turn out onto floured board
  5. Knead dough until it becomes semi-firm and will not stick to hands
  6. Put dough in bowl and rub 1 tablespoon oil over and around the dough so as not to form a crust
  7. Let rise 1 hour
