Cranberry-Pear Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 medium pears Bosc Bartlett or Anjou
  • 1 c sugar
  • 14 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp finely shredded orange peel
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 c cranberries
  • pastry for double crust pie
  • 1 Tbsp margarine or butter cut up

Directions

  1. Peel core and slice pears approximately 5 cups In mixing bowl combine sugar flour orange peel and cinnamon
  2. Add pears and cranberries toss to coat
  3. Set aside
