Cranberry Bars
Ingredients
- 1 12 c flour
- 1 12 c quick-cooking oats
- 34 c packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp grated lemon rind
- 14 tsp soda
- 34 c melted margarine
- 1 16 oz can whole cranberry sauce
- 14 c chopped pecans
Directions
- Combine flour oats brown sugar lemon rind and soda in mixer bowl mix well
- Stir in margarine
- Reserve 1 cup flour mixture Press remaining flour mixture into 9 x 13-inch baking pan
- Bake at 350 for 20 minutes
- Spread cranberry sauce over baked layer Sprinkle with
- mixture of reserved flour mixture and pecans
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes longer or until golden brown
- Cool Cut into bars
- May be frozen up to 12 months
