Cranberry Bean Soup

Ingredients
- 1 bag Cranberry Beans
- 12 lb ham or bacon
- 1 large onion
- salt and pepper
- pinch of baking soda
- water
Directions
- Sort and soak beans with a pinch of baking soda over night Next day bring to a boil Rinse and cover with water and add ham or bacon onion salt and pepper to taste Bring to a boil Reduce heat and simmer
- 1 12 to 2 hours or until tender Add water as needed during cooking time
