Cranberry Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 34 c packed brown sugar
- 12 c margarine or butter softened
- 14 c milk
- 2 Tbsp orange juice
- 1 egg
- 3 c all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 12 tsp salt
- 14 tsp baking soda
- 2 12 c coarsely chopped cranberries
- 1 c chopped nuts
- Browned Butter Glaze following if desired
Directions
- Heat oven to 375
- Mix sugars and margarine
- Stir in milk orange juice and egg
- Stir in remaining ingredients except Browned Butter Glaze
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet
- Bake until light brown 10 to 15 minutes
- Cool spread with glaze
- Makes about 5 12 dozen cookies
