Cranberry Loaf
Ingredients
- 12 c shortening
- 1 c sugar
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 c raisins
- 12 c chopped nuts
- 1 34 c sifted all-purpose flour
- 14 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 16 oz can jellied cranberry sauce or whole cranberry sauce
Directions
- Cream shortening and sugar add egg
- Stir in raisins and nuts Sift together flour salt baking soda baking powder and cinnamon
- Add to creamed mixture
- Stir in cranberry sauce Spoon into 2 greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pans Bake at 350 for 40 to 50 minutes
- Remove from pans and cool on wire rack
