Cranberry Muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 14 c sugar
  • 14 c butter or margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 12 c all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 12 c milk
  • 2 c fresh or frozen cranberries coarsely chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 Cream together sugar and butter Add eggs one at a time beating after each addition
  2. In a bowl sift flour baking powder and salt
  3. Add with milk to the sugar and butter mixture
  4. Stir by hand just to moisten ingredients Stir in cranberries
  5. Spoon into 18 2 12-inch muffin cups filling 34 full
  6. Bake 25 to 30 minutes Makes 18 muffins
