Cranberry Muffins
Ingredients
- 1 14 c sugar
- 14 c butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- 2 12 c all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 14 tsp salt
- 12 c milk
- 2 c fresh or frozen cranberries coarsely chopped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 Cream together sugar and butter Add eggs one at a time beating after each addition
- In a bowl sift flour baking powder and salt
- Add with milk to the sugar and butter mixture
- Stir by hand just to moisten ingredients Stir in cranberries
- Spoon into 18 2 12-inch muffin cups filling 34 full
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes Makes 18 muffins
