Cranberry Torte
Ingredients
- 1 lb vanilla wafers
- 14 lb butter
- 1 12 c confectioners sugar
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 c ground raw apples peeled
- 1 c ground raw cranberries
- 1 c drained crushed pineapple
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 1 c heavy cream whipped
Directions
- Grind wafers to fine crumbs
- Spread half of crumbs in a 9 x 13-inch pan
- Cream butter and sugar
- Add egg and beat until creamy
- Spread creamed mixture over crumbs to edge of pan Combine fruits and granulated sugar
- Let stand 20 minutes Spread over creamed mixture
- Cover fruit with whipped cream
- Top with rest of vanilla wafer crumbs
- Chill 12 to 24 hours
- Serves 24
