Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Ingredients

• 14 c chopped onion
• 14 c margarine or butter
• 3 Tbsp flour
• 18 tsp pepper
• 18 tsp garlic powder
• 1 c half and half
• 12 c whipping cream
• 2 tsp lemon juice
• 10 34 oz can condensed chicken broth
• 14 c water
• 2 c Green Giant frozen broccoli cuts

Directions

1. In medium saucepan saute onion in margarine until tender Stir in flour pepper and garlic powder
2. Cook 1 minute stirring occasionally until smooth and bubbly
3. Gradually stir in half and half whipping cream and lemon juice cook until slightly thickened stirring constantly
4. Do not boil
